I'm restoring a 3500 that I really like. But I wanted to get away from the key and try BlueTrack technology. I watched 4000 and didn't like it. Too many buttons and it wasn't as convenient as I wanted. Then I found this one, the 3600. It works well on all surfaces, great ergonomics, nice feel, no connectivity issues and minimal functionality. Everything seemed perfect! Scrolling was excellent, despite the lack of wheel notches that I'm used to. But then I noticed that when I "clicked" the mouse wheel, it seemed like there were three or four clicks. This is because there is a 4-way scroll feature where pressing the wheel in either direction scrolls horizontally. This can be useful in some very situational cases, to which I agree. The problem is that it clicks the same way as pushing the wheel. It won't perform the mouse click action four times, but that can be annoying if you're an OCD person. No extra "clicks" from 4-way scrolling (or without the full 4-way scrolling feature). ), that would be the perfect product. I will keep this review updated should anything change.
