This accessory is fine. If you make a point or two you can get away with it, but this is your typical cheap Chinese bit with inferior carbide that doesn't hold an edge. If you have a big job, take Aman or Whiteside. I needed this for two countertops so it worked and it was a good price. Every tool has a price and you have to spend money on how you are going to use it. For single-use items that sit in a drawer for 10 years before being used again, there's no reason this bit shouldn't work.
