Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

I have been using this lens for over a year, delivered like a whale. On the back - the front was not checked. The first shots brought disappointment - no better than the first two soap dishes in terms of quality and sharpness. But . more than a year has passed and my opinion about this glass has changed dramatically - as a result - for the year 2 million views and more than 20 Popular photos on photos! Whoever goes there knows that people earn even a million views over the years, while using glasses and cameras of professional quality and prices. It all depends on the correct shooting: at night - ISO is always 200, tripod, self-timer, manual setting - and absolutely no noise, clear and sharp photos. During the day - shooting in aperture priority. You just need to learn how to shoot with this glass! Back - front? Maybe there is, but you can always manually hover! And at night, AF is generally useless! Whatever they write there, he also knows how to shoot macro, although in addition a 50mm 1.8D fix with a set of macro rings was bought, and so they are equal in sharpness! Macro, of course, is better at fifty dollars, the background blurs to a cottony state, but shooting is only manual, it is difficult to get into focus, a very small depth of field. Of course, there aren’t enough focal lengths for 18 - 105, now I plan to buy a Sigma 70-300. Look at the test photos - there are just cool, so the glass can shoot! But 18 -105 is simply irreplaceable for landscapes!

Pros
  • Quite a good lens. Lightweight, bright enough, stabilizer, autofocus, lens hood included, quite normal sharpness, solidly built. Plastic mount - I forgot about it, although I have to take off and put on a "fifty kopeck". sometimes 10 times an hour.
Cons
  • the camera nods, a slightly wider angle.
