Review on πŸ”† 2-Pack of 110V UVA Basking Spot Heat Lamp Bulbs (100W), Reptile Mercury Vapor Bulbs with Soft White Poly Sand Light Dome for Tortoise Lizard and Amphibian Use by Kathy Lee

Revainrating 1 out of 5

FAST FADE - also contains no mercury fumes

UPDATE #2 - The second bulb lasted less than two weeks. When removing the lamps, one of them completely detached from its threaded base. --- UPDATE - wow, the first one I installed already burned out. It lasted a little over two months - it's pretty awful. Choose a different UVA lamp (I like ClearBrite - see below). ---ORIGINAL MESSAGE: Similar to the ClearBrite Exotic Pet Bulb (#80754) I buy locally for $10 each except they have frosted glass. Definitely not mercury bulbs - you can tell by the price, their nice warm yellowish light (mercury bulbs give light with a green cast) and I asked the seller who confirmed this. If they prove durable (I've had them for about 2 months) then that's a very good price. Normally ClearBrites last at least six months and sometimes more than a year.
