Works great but clear base glows too brightly
Bought 5 of these to replace 5 of the same GE model as they are burning out. Good bright focused light. No complaints. The only comment is that its base is clear, which allows it to glow a little and make the bulb itself brighter, which differs from the old bulbs I have, they are completely white and don't have that effect. Next time I'll make sure to paint them white as they let in more light and aren't as noticeable as these.
