This is a good product especially if chopping vegetables is a chore for you like it is for me. It's relatively easy to use once you get the hang of it. I only use this product with gloves and a protective slider and it has not given me any problems. There is also a special way you have to face the pusher. If you place it so that the two flat edges are on the rim of the mandolin, it slides perfectly over the knife and won't be damaged. If you turn it the other way, there is a risk of damaging the food slicer as the blade could cut into the plastic. Overall I like the product and will definitely use it again and again.
