Honestly I only bought it for the ability to selectively power USB devices. Now I can turn on the light on my workbench or any other electronic thing on my desk individually. I had other hubs that could be switched but it was all or nothing. So it's really great. Well, my fault I didn't actually plug this into my computer as I only wanted it for switched outlets. Why didn't I just go with something much cheaper? Two words, transparent panels. It was an extremely irrational decision, but it was worth it. I even 3D printed a stand that allows me to sit at an angle so I can look inside. Why? I don't know but it makes me happy. I would hook this up to my computer. When I needed more USB capacity. without delay. I have no concerns about the quality of the device at the moment. It seems really well done. One little thing I think is cool is some low power LEDs to light up the interiors. Not so glaring that it's annoying, just for effect.
