I am very disappointed with this scale. Looks so great, fits in my kitchen and worked so well for the first 4 months. Came with a new one? Battery and after 4 months it started giving strange readings and then I noticed the battery indicator says it's dead. It might have taken me a few minutes a day. When I finally remembered it and got the correct battery, I put it in and the battery icon never showed the battery was fully charged, it looked like it was half full. The device worked for a month on a brand new battery and then stopped again. I tried another new battery and it lasted a month. Maybe I got a defective device? I don't know, but I don't have a return window and it annoys me to have to constantly change batteries. I only need to run fast when I'm cooking! If I still need to buy batteries, I might as well buy a new device.
