Sounds and works fine. There's a few seconds of delay before it actually connects to your phone, but it's better than connecting your phone. I have used this with an RCD330 radio on my mk6 gti. My criticism is that since using the key, every time I'm in Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze, the app loses my direction and thinks I'm going backwards/struggling to get my location. If I remove the key and switch back to wired CarPlay connection, this problem goes away. Also, I already updated the key according to their instructions. The GPS antenna may have a problem with the CarPlay adapter or something else. It works 80% of the time anyway.
