Sounds and works fine. There's a few seconds of delay before it actually connects to your phone, but it's better than connecting your phone. I have used this with an RCD330 radio on my mk6 gti. My criticism is that since using the key, every time I'm in Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze, the app loses my direction and thinks I'm going backwards/struggling to get my location. I received the original Carlinkit, not version 2.0. I have contacted the seller but no response yet. I will update this review when I hear from them. This device works well when it works.
