I was nervous when I got this because of the mixed reviews but I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. The worst that can happen, I will return it. Received today and installed immediately. It was plug and play out of the box. I turned off the car several times to make sure it reconnected and it did. The only downside I see so far is how hot the device gets. I'm a little worried about it overheating and burning out or worst case scenario damaging my car. I'll update the review if anything changes, but I'm very glad I no longer have to mess with cables.
