The system looked pretty easy to install but I made the mistake of installing the rod on the outside of the mechanism instead of the inside so the cover had to be reinstalled . impossible. You should have some basic instructions and a template to cut out the cover. Also the spring in the photo which is not included in the kit. This would make the heavier lever assembly much easier to operate. Also add some thread lock as I see the bolts loosening in the future after a couple of rough rides. Additionally, this system was inexpensive for what it is.
