I was using a mount for my LG Ultrawide monitor, my monitor was VESA compliant and fit well until IO found it covered all my ports on the back of the monitor. I had to buy a grommet kit with screws to leave room for the HDMI port, aux out and power supply, but the HDMI cable isn't that flexible, so I bought some adapters that connect the HDMI to the other bring direction. Now it works fine.
