I bought a backup camera but the cable that came with it was too short for my long cab pickup. So I bought this cable to cover the length from my radio to the camera on the back of my truck. It works great. I keep it in a cut loom to protect it as it's a thin wire and doesn't look too strong. I also wrapped the ends with mastic tape for sealing. I didn't find the extra cable very useful. As a result I ran a two wire cable to power the camera and drowned out the red wire.
