Okay, but why do you need so much flint?

My house is full of flint, the slightest movement sparks around me. My stove no longer needs to be lit because turning the knob sends sparks flying in all directions, similar to particle effects in old video games. One day I went to pet my cat but the flint also set it on fire, as I was moving through the mountains of small pieces of flint some of them sparkled and set the cat on fire and everything else too. Although they worked fine with the lighters I put them in.
