Review on Crucial DDR4 DIMM 8GB CT8G4DFRA32A PC4-25600, 3200MHz by Mateusz Czyta ᠌

Some kind of defective product, I definitely wont buy it anymore.

If you install 4 modules from good batches at the same time with a good memory controller, then it will do. For fans of plywood overclocking and exaggerated FPS, I took a photo of a benchmark in this configuration with default settings. It turned out interesting, right? :) Unfortunately, many variants of this memory are sold with the same batch code on the packaging CT8G4DFRA32A. There were different options: Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Mexico. The US has never been caught. In the EEPROM of modules, sometimes they write anything horrible. The bad thing is that in any cellar you can now write anything you want to EEPROM. 4-chip options - generally horror. Sellers sell memory modules as they are, focusing only on the inscriptions on the packages; it is extremely difficult to get the real characteristics of the modules before buying and installing them.

Pros
  • 1. Supply voltage 1.2V, 1600MHz, 3200Mp/s - cold. 2. Cheap modules/ 3. Detected and works without problems / 4. Without LED light.
Cons
  • 1. Single-rank modules (Single Rank) - acceptable performance only when 4 modules are installed on motherboards with 4 slots and with normal memory controllers, and so at the level of Dual Rank 1200-1333MHz; 2. Not fast memory - CL22. 3. No built-in temperature sensors. They are never redundant. 4. No radiators. True, they are not really needed for such a memory, and if necessary, they can be installed independently.
