Review on Enhance your laptop audio experience with Creative Labs PCMCIA Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook (70SB053000012) by Bob Jensen

My Compaq V2000 onboard audio has been disabled. I was looking for PCMCIA sound cards when I saw that this 3 year old laptop motherboard replacement would cost over $400. I read some good reviews on this card and Revain had the best price so I went with it. It works fantastic. The sound quality is on a completely different level than the built-in sound chips. With a good pair of headphones, you'll hear things you didn't even know existed, especially bass and treble. I've also tried it with my speaker system and DVDs sound fantastic too. After seeing how good the sound was, I was about to buy a PCI version for my desktop gaming PC, but instead I picked up a Rosewill PCMCIA PCI adapter, which I use to connect the Audigy 2 ZS to my desktop as well can use. Again it works and sounds great. Oblivion and FEAR sound amazing compared to the built in sound. Very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone.
