This works pretty well in my new 'Covid stay at the desk'. A few issues, but often I feel like it's due to the poor quality of the pens or the rough pointing technique of the students using them. I had to remove the broken graphite between the metal sharpening blades just like other manual sharpeners. The latch on the lid is not broken on any sharpener, even a few drops on the bottom, and the plastic sleeves are still intact. I've rearranged them (students borrowed them) so you know they're the best quality I've found. for "while sharpening the table by all students".
