.Barbecue lantern, work lantern, lantern for almost everything. This is a great little book light: it's perfect for reading, and the 3 brightness settings are great for reading in bed next to my wife or when the ambient light in the room doesn't need full brightness. I've charged the flashlight once since buying it and we haven't needed a second charge yet (a few weeks later). I actually used it when grilling in late winter to be able to see the surface of my grill (the adjustable clamp fits almost anything). For so many reasons, I would say this little book light is a winner. Enjoy reading, grilling or whatever. UPDATE: This little light is amazing, we ordered it in January, we use it almost every evening for a quick bedtime read and also use it in a variety of ways as described in the main review but we haven't charged for it yet the 2nd time. Four months of use without a 2nd charge. Simply exceptional. We did a full charge after receiving it in January and we tend to read on low to medium settings, but still I was expecting a monthly charge. Great little light.
