I love the Fel-Pro PermaDry seals on my 1986 Ford F150 with the 302 engine and EFI. They go well with the PermaDry oil pan gasket I installed earlier this year. As another reviewer pointed out, their great feature is that they allow you to insert bolts into the valve cover holes with the gaskets before installation. them on the cylinder heads. This greatly simplifies installation. (I dropped a bolt in the process and it was a little PITA to put in when the valve cover was on the engine. Doing it x 12 would be awful.) Since I still have an oil leak, I'm expecting to replace the intake manifold gasket also with Fel Pro. I don't know why they didn't make it one piece like the oil pan gasket, but I think the rubber ends of the intake manifold gasket would be better than the plug. (I've seen some people just use RTV for the ends of the gasket, but I prefer the easy installation and removal of the rubber gasket if needed.
