My five wheel trailer has two axles. The connections between the springs allow one wheel to stay on the ground when the other is lifted. This is probably common with caravans. I still have to use a jack to change a tire, but this device does some of the work of getting the wheel off the ground. I should be able to lift the tire with just a little jacking up because this device does some of the work. I didn't try to get the wheel off the ground, so that's my guess. This is a great level. Much better than stacking blocks under the wheels and figuring out how many blocks to use. The device is made of very durable die-cast aluminium. I'm considering using a metal block to constrain the movement of the spring links to get this to work.
