I had some pretty iffy 1 Gbps cables, and these definitely show noticeable improvement in bandwidth and connection reliability at 1 Gbps.I'm also in the process of replacing all of the cables in my house with 40 Gbps Cat8 cables in preparation for the next 20 years. By the way, I recommend putting in PVC pipes when you do this in order to make it easier to change the cables later. I had done this between the crawl space and attic when I built my house 21 years ago, but forgot to do it on the first floor in places where there is no crawl space. Also, getting from the attic to a bedroom is harder than it seems. Wish I had put in per-bedroom pipes. Fishing is not fun through firewalls.
