Review on 🎨 Prismacolor 1774800 Premier Colored Pencils, Manga Colors Review and Buying Guide - 23-Count by Kristen Simpson

Artists' pens, not for children. A nice step up from the old pencils.

I got 3 adult coloring books for Christmas and I love many arts like drawing so I wanted to take my coloring up a notch Shading, Mixing etc. So far I have used 48 Prang pens which I have had since I was a teenager over 15 years ago. In this test we compare these soft Prismacolor leads with the old ones. These Prismacolor pencils definitely produce a more intense color than the old ones and it's very noticeable when used side by side. The color is also smoother than the prangs, but this contrasts less with the prangs than the color itself. Another area where they do a much better job is in blending. Most of the time when you layer Prang colors you end up with grays or browns, and layering one color on top of another is difficult unless you're layering a dark color on top of a very light one. However, these crayons blend well together and with a little pressure the coating of one color over the other becomes much denser. I am very happy with my purchase as I got them in a great deal for $13. As this set has a limited range and I've basically only tried the brand with them, I look forward to purchasing a larger set in the future.
