These lights are great but they don't work with 48VE bike controllers even though they run at 12v up Advertised as 80v, they would not light up at all if plugged directly into the light output of the e-bike, which had a 48v light and was working properly. I decided to reconnect everything to the 12V battery and remove it from the e-bike battery so I wouldn't reduce the capacity of the battery for the electric motor as I still needed to connect taillights and turn signals to work in my to be legal area. They work great with a 12 volt battery. very bright and gives great visibility at night and the strobe is great during the day when I'm driving downtown LA and drivers are always distracted. Very happy with the purchase but only got 4 starts because I couldn't get it to turn on the 48v battery which is why I bought it in the first place.
