Very Low Quality Lights and Accessories

These lamps get so hot they can burn/melt anything they are attached to. These bulbs don't have a heatsink and the LEDs inside are soldered at different angles, so each bulb has a completely different light pattern and looks awful. And the lens is plastic.

Decent headlights are the best in lighting and accessories

Cheaply made I've had a couple of aluminum bodies and this pair is far from quality. The brightness is good, I don't want to turn it up too high so as not to disturb the view of an approaching car. They are not bright enough for dark cooker hoods. Please bring a clear visor. Because they were cheap I applied several coats of black paint to them to prevent rust. Very disappointed.

Bright, hot and so cool ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Much more than expected. I use them on an electric scooter and they're almost overkill (never go overboard with headlights on a bike). However, they are BRIGHT. Compared to the headlights on my car, these win. But high brightness is accompanied by strong heating, if you don't move, they will heat up. Only time will tell if this is a real problem or not. But now I understand the weird aluminum cage to keep your fleshy bits away from the lamp itself ๐Ÿ˜

You get what you pay for

Small LED chip, not sure what the actual light output is. You can definitely see the square of light in the projection, so be aware of that. All the pieces come apart easily which is nice if you want to tinker, but if you're looking for something super bright and not partly plastic I'd go elsewhere. hooked it up to a power supply and got an actual current draw of 730mA per unit at 12V. The output would be 8.76W per unit. FYI if you want to include multiple. I wish there were better options forโ€ฆ

Tested at 132,800 lux for just ONE lamp!

I installed this on my TerraTrike Zoomer recumbent trike while doing an Etrike conversion in my workshop. In the picture with two of them they only work with 24 gauge 42 volt test leads. For the LUX test, I added four times more test leads. The LUX meter (mostly the same as Lumens) is also decent and is for sale here. It's set at x100, so 132,800 lux. I had a hard time keeping it in place, so it changed quickly, peaking at around 160,000 at times. I can attest that these lamps are very wellโ€ฆ

Not very bright

Actually they are quite faint. The result is definitely overrated. I'm using one of the 52VE Bike batteries and it works but it's not very bright. It was intended to replace the Light & Motion TAZ800 bike light (800 lumens). Compared to the TAZ, it's significantly dimmer than the 800 lumens and slightly brighter than the Taz's "low" (200 lumens) setting, but definitely dimmer than the 400 lumens setting. 3 stars. The central hotspot is good enough for driving at night, it's a decent radiationโ€ฆ

Mounted on e-bike, great lights but don't work with 48VE bikes

These lights are great but they don't work with 48VE bike controllers even though they run at 12v up Advertised as 80v, they would not light up at all if plugged directly into the light output of the e-bike, which had a 48v light and was working properly. I decided to reconnect everything to the 12V battery and remove it from the e-bike battery so I wouldn't reduce the capacity of the battery for the electric motor as I still needed to connect taillights and turn signals to work in my to beโ€ฆ
