Installation was very easy. I followed some instructions from YT to open up the RAM port on the back. I don't know if it matters if you leave the stickers on the RAM, but I removed them with no problem. After installing it, I booted up my iMac and it worked great. I checked to make sure all RAM was detected and was sure enough that everything was fine. I'm so glad I didn't pay Apple hundreds of extra dollars for RAM. My programs run even smoother than before. Be sure to check the recommended maximum RAM capacity for your specific iMac. It was 32GB on my base 2019 model, but I've found that it's been 64GB on some higher-spec models.
