The product fully corresponds to the description with the exact dimensions. The box construction makes it very torsionally rigid, which is what I needed. My basement drywall was installed (by the previous owner) with a missing stud in the middle of a 48" wide sheet of drywall. So I installed the mount directly to a stud with the two screws that came with it. This provides support for the load near the Center of mass. I also used two plastic lever screws on one end of the mount to aid in rotation. This worked great for a 65" TV that weighs 38 pounds. One of the issues with using this mount with the latest thin TVs is the difficulty of connecting cables. Depending on the cutouts on the back of the TV, you may need to connect cables before hanging the TV on the bracket. The 1.5" distance from the wall is too small for an adult hand could grab the HDMI connector.Your TV can be easily mounted on this bracket and remove again, but you need two people to lift the TV from below. New TVs cannot be picked up at the top edges.
