Review on SilverStone F1 Monaco S radar detector by Athit Samatiyadekul ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product is average, I'm not sure it's worth the money.

For a long time I chose a radar detector precisely for the price-quality. The choice fell on the 2022 winner of the authoritative magazine "Behind the wheel" Silver stone f1 Monaco S. I traveled around Hong Kong for a week and here are my thoughts: the gps module works fine, but the radar part is not ice. For example, he sees a cordon in the forehead for 50 meters in city 1 mode. What kind of business is this? The settings are all correct. In the track mode, the same cordon is caught and so and so perfectly, but there are a lot of false positives in it. I went to Hong Kong on the M3 and along the whole road there were a lot of false positives in the highway mode, what is the signature for? It works on trucks, but not on gas stations. In general, I don’t even know where the conclusions were made by the magazine behind the wheel. In our city, they sometimes put three-legged radars, and if I go with him in the back, then that's it, hello fine. The mi ji 800s show is also not praised on YouTube, but I'll go to the store and try to exchange it, I'll unsubscribe then

Pros
  • GPS works as it should
Cons
  • It's not balanced in my opinion. In the city1 mode, it does not see the main radars (cordon) in the back, or rather, it sees upon passing. In mode, the track is too active and there are a lot of false alarms.
