Didn't help me. I bought this hoping to improve reception on 4 channels going out, coming back, going out, coming back etc. I have the 2nd antenna pointing the NE and running it through the combo. Both antennas use the same full copper core coaxial cable, both cables are the same length. Both are on the roof, the northeast antenna is 30 feet off the ground, the southeast antenna is 26 feet off the ground. They are separated by about 8 feet. I've tried with and without power (just to see). I only tuned to 1 antenna at a time and between the combined and the tuner with a zilch difference. I actually completely lost 1 channel that we rarely watch. The "power indicator" was always lit when the device was connected to the network. After I removed the amp everything was back to where I started. So, I think it was worth trying and I realized that failure was an option. I will say that it looked good, from a well-known company, and I liked its compactness. But I honestly thought it would help as I get 35-58 signal strength on all of these 4 channels and 55-71 on one that I completely lost. Maybe he was too strong to work for me. Anyway, I returned it.
