Didn't help me. I bought this hoping to improve reception on 4 channels going out, coming back, going out, coming back etc. I have the 2nd antenna pointing the NE and running it through the combo. Both antennas use the same full copper core coaxial cable, both cables are the same length. The wiring on the amplifier box is the female end going to the antenna side and the male end going to the TV side. So the designers expected this amplifier to be built into the TV. In the 1980's I had a communications company that installed both VHF/UHF terrestrial antennas and satellite dishes.
