I've been using this for tea leaves for the last year or so. . It has a very long shelf life and keeps the taste very fresh. I was annoyed at first that there wasn't a large glass for my tea, but dividing it into 3 containers I think helped keep it fresher longer as the other 2 containers didn't open until one of the previous ones was empty was. Ultra dark glass bottle + plastic cap. I was concerned about this at first, but it's not a problem at all and holds the fill well, so I take it for a pro. - Expensive glasses. but they work fantastically well.
