1. Whether the actual problem is resolved. Yes, the factory power window motor failed, but the motor on that regulator worked. Although that's the only good thing. The quality control at every point where the regulator attaches to the window, the door and the way they move was poor. Every connection was loose, so loose that the window tilted and couldn't be closed without you manually pushing it back into place every time you lowered it and then raised it again. I bought a replacement from RockAuto and it works great.
