Too small and flimsy

I wonder why I can't find the same hangars I bought a few years ago that look exactly the same except they are everything they aren't. They are oddly small - the hook that has to go through the clothes rail is too small to fit around the rod and the distance between the hook and the hangar opening is too small to fit through a standard rod. The thickness of the metal is thin and brittle, which makes them not strong enough for jeans, so they can only handle light summer pants or women's scarves. I returned them.
