Review on Addressable Lighting Splitter Motherboard Interface by Ashwin Drollinger

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal as an ARGB hub/splitter. Works as described.

I originally wanted to give this product one star. Then I realized that the ARGB (Sirius Loop) fan's non-standard ARGB connector (square pin and deep square jumper) was the cause of the problem I was having all along. The connection to each fan was not solid. I've found that the stopper for each ARGB connector on the controller board can be removed, which in turn allows the jumper connector for each fan to have just enough "bite" to stay securely in place. Connected to my gigabyte mobo, viola started! The RGB hub works exactly as described. Note. I didn't use a PWM fan hub as I already use a dedicated fan hub elsewhere. As such, I cannot express my opinion on the PWM controller of this product.

Pros
  • This CPU cooling SATA hub is powered by SATA 15PIN, which can power fans and 5V 3pin ARGB products at the same time. The motherboard has no power load and can maintain stable output power even under full load.
Cons
  • Protection
