I wear US size 7 women's shoes when it comes to tennis, hiking and closed shoes, but my actual size is 6.5 W. These fit me. My husband wears men's shoes in sizes 9-9.5 and they fit him too. If you look at the pictures there is a size chart that shows they will fit me and him. I bought them hoping to give half to my husband but ended up keeping it all for myself. I wanted lightweight, high percentage wool socks that didn't feel like my average ankle socks. I wanted to be able to wear these socks with light hiking shoes and even running/training shoes without feeling tight inside the shoe. I only looked at the photos provided by the manufacturer and, with only one existing rating, I went into the fact that the sneakers are not too thick. I'm glad I did. I haven't used them for hiking but they go great with my light hiking boots. I have used each of the 4 pairs of gym/treadmill running socks. I wash them and tumble dry LOW like I usually do other laundry and no shrinkage.
