Pleasantly surprised, it really works!

Good quality. The instructions could have been better, I am correcting it now. Don't try to put the gas pedal back in like I did. Removal only takes a minute or two. This makes it much easier to disconnect and connect the Pedal Commander. A 10mm deep socket and 6" ratchet extension make it easy. My 2016 4Runner has clocked up 30,000 miles and is consistently averaging 19.1mpg. After installing the commander, I put the sport and +2. After 1 week my average consumption is 20.2 mpg. A small increase, but since the performance has increased significantly, I don't care! Again, it's like a sport mode. I chose Sport mode because I'm pretty fed up with the lack of engine response and want to see what can be improved. The mileage was therefore not a purchase criterion. At some point I will try the eco mode. All reviews of the 4Runner say it's heavy and only has 5 speeds, resulting in poor performance. That's not the whole truth. Pedal Commander has unlocked a hidden power that I will never take away. (Adhesive cover does not include 3M material usage plan.) The price is high for something so small and should cost less, but I would buy it again if I had to. And it has bluetooth. Not a big deal, but easier to view and change. Follow the instructions at the end, if you have keyless beans, put them away as directed and I would wrap them in foil if unsure until the installation is complete.
