I got a small because I was afraid xsmall would crush my hips to death. I was right. The short pants fit very well. They're a little tighter at the bottom of the shorts, but it's not too tight where I feel like I'm being squeezed. I have small frames and the ONLY downside to these two pieces is that I can't choose the size of the top. It's very square which means it sits loosely on my small shoulders. The material is ribbed and it's fantastic, no complaints. I just have weird proportions.
