My family does a 'gaming gift swap' every Christmas and this is one of the games they brought me. We played it later that evening and thoroughly enjoyed it! The game is very simple and straightforward - you divide all participants into 2 teams and then place 4 cards from the chosen category in the bag for each player involved (e.g. 4 players = 16 cards in the bag). (You can mix categories to make it harder or stay in one category to make it easier). Start a 30 second timer, draw a card and start ROUND 1 (talk to your team to describe the words). If your team guesses a card before 30 seconds is up, draw another card and continue until time runs out. Round 1 ends when both teams take turns guessing all the cards in the bag. Do the same for ROUND 2 (One Word Description - Say 1 word to describe the card (still use the same cards that were in the bag, so it helps if your team remembers the cards Round 1 remembered) The last round is the 3rd round (replay, only action, no sound… all the same cards from the bag) (the number is on the card. This is for collecting points). There are 5 different categories in total, and the categories are VERY general (which sometimes makes the task more complicated)… The categories are as follows: PEOPLE: about people, their characteristics and daily activities (an example card is Vomit, Birth, Superman, Hiccup, spaghetti, shakira) LEISURE AND SPORTS about anything sport related: (e.g. guitar cards, baseball, protein shake, dominoes, capa) ENTERTAINMENT: about movies, shows and entertainment details (sample cards - wifi, ghosts, hairspray, friends , Excitement, Earth Day Dhog) LOCATIONS: about places in the world (example cards - chimney, dining table, outing, traffic lights, farm) OUTDOOR: about animals, nature or anything outdoors (example cards - meat, plant , gloves, panther, exit ) All in all a fun family game for young and old!
