Ever since I got my first Olympus DW-90, I've been impressed by the features and thoughtful design of Olympus recorders. The latest in the WS series, WS-710M has more features. In addition, it offers 8 GB of storage space, an integrated FM tuner and a battery charging function. The microSD slot also provides flexibility for music, files, etc. It's the PERFECT device for lectures, voice notes, seminars, or listening to music. It records in stereo, via PCM/MP3/or WMA. Other brands I've tried simply don't offer features or stand up to the daily use (abuse) I receive from my digital voice recorders. A pleasant surprise was the presence of a soft case in the box with the recorder, which protects the recorder very well. Already during my first seminar and weekend lectures, the WS-710M proved to be a purchase recommendation. Clear sound, simple operation and everything that is claimed. Bonus: It comes with a rechargeable battery! The second review for this product was bad and unfair. You have not researched the device and published an unfair comparison with a technically different type of recorder. It was comparing apples to oranges.
