The part fit right in and was fine but it did not fix my check engine light. I have a 1999 Dodge Intrepid. The code was P1494 - leak detection pump switch or mechanical failure. The actual problem was discovered when removing the lower rear seat cushion. There is an electrical connector under the passenger side. There was water in the seat pan, probably from the door seals. This resulted in connector corrosion and poor contact. I cleaned the connection and the check engine light is off.
