It's loud. But the current is pretty good. I use it to transfer oil so it handles that very well. oil no problem. It's quite loud but I can't hear it when the car is running so it doesn't bother me

After trying many other pumps this was the BEST. The METAL impeller and housing are KEY. My parts wash pump failed and after trying 2 other pumps. waste of money. This pump is STRONGER than gpm and the solvent angle from my wash brush is on STEROIDS. Be careful with squirts, but other than that, this pump is much better. And the price is worth it!

I was skeptical at first, but was pleasantly surprised. This pump kicks ass! I use it as a bleed pump for my rear turbo setup and so far it has been running for 4 months with no problems. This pump works great! The benefit is the fact that you can run it dry without damaging the pump. We used to drain the hydraulic oil from the oil tanks and it worked quickly even though we were outside in cold weather. Until I put it into service I am building a portable diesel polisher for my boat. Can also be used to drain oil from ancillaries and generators. I will report how well it works for these applications. One thing to note: The pipe threads on hose barbs and pump fittings are not tapered. Because of this, they probably won't seal well. I used this pump in my boat's oil change system. However this is a great little pump, the oil used on my boat is 40 or more in weight and I have used it on cold oil. The internal thermal device kept shutting down the pump because it was heating up. It was only lukewarm, but still off. I think I should have warmed up the engines before using the pump to remove the oil. It worked better when I poured oil back into the engine, but still failed a few times.
