Until I put it into service I am building a portable diesel polisher for my boat. Can also be used to drain oil from ancillaries and generators. I will report how well it works for these applications. One thing to note: The pipe threads on hose barbs and pump fittings are not tapered. Because of this, they probably won't seal well. Typical offshore scrap. All it takes is the right tap and die in the manufacturing process. I replaced the hose fittings with 3/8 MIP x 3/8 brass inserts (with IP cone) from a plumbing store and also used teflon tape.
