This pump works great! The benefit is the fact that you can run it dry without damaging the pump. We used to drain the hydraulic oil from the oil tanks and it worked quickly even though we were outside in cold weather. The only negative issue we had was that one of the hose adapters came out with a 90 degree twist instead of both being straight. *We plan to mount it on a board as the base is a bit unstable. *** Also, standard size hoses from Home Depot or Lowes will not fit the ends without heating the hose, forcibly tightening it, and using clamps.
