I've tried 6 different pairs of steel toe shoes, most of which are running shoes. I love my Wolverine work boots, but here in the Texas heat they get too hot after hours of hotshot trucking. I have tried many of the cheaper Chinese brands, too flimsy. I have also come to the conclusion that black is not suitable for work boots, they collect dirt and dust from workshops and need daily cleaning. I like their design, they don't get dirty that easily. They're comfortable, if a bit bulky, but that's to be expected from a work shoe. They feel secure and hold up well on wet or oily surfaces. I have tried other Sketcher shoes but these are the best.
