Review on Walker 50065 Quiet Flow Stainless Muffler by Tom Tofte

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Performance Parts & Accessories all year round

I like it so far but only installed it for a few days. I made the mistake of installing a dual exhaust on my 2011 Jeep Wrangler that was too noisy and I was unable to reattach the original exhaust. The price of this exhaust bet it quite easily. The "package" it came in didn't exist. Only the middle was wrapped with bubble wrap. It wasn't in the box at all. It somehow arrived undamaged, so here's the thing. It doesn't have the usual spiked ends on hangers. Instead, they are curved to prevent slipping. Because these hangers are curved, they were much more difficult to install compared to other exhaust systems. It's quiet, just like the OEM exhaust. There's a subtle deep tone that resonates with this exhaust that the OEM doesn't have and I really like it. If it can handle the salt and the elements I think it would be an upgrade from the stock exhaust. It sits higher and is not as noticeable. Has a nice low rumble that many people probably won't even notice. It's really cheap. Based on other reviews it's unlikely to withstand rust so I painted mine high temp black paint and hope that helps. Update from 05/03/2018: I couldn't take it. The right mounting broke off, so this muffler is now hanging on its side. Sad.
