I confess.my husband ordered and I took number #3 - my favorite number - at first I was a little leery because I had to "get over" the silly thought in my head that I could get a sliver - told you it was silly! I kept my old toothbrush too in case I didn't absolutely love the Natural Bamboo one. The bottom line is the bristles are soft and very plentiful - in other words, they're densely packed allowing a very thorough brushing. I have a sensitive mouth and was formally using a name brand (ok - OralB Extra Soft Brush) and like I said, I kept it for a little over a week. I tossed it today eventhough it was only about 3 weeks old. Ok, I kept it to clean the faucet gunk and will toss it shortly.I would highly recommend these and we will certainly be buying again! They're perfect!
