Review on SeaLogs by Jack Herrera

It's easy enough that anyone can use it without training or help from someone with more experience of navigating at sea (which I'm not). The interface could be improved by having better navigation symbols and icons instead of using very simple font characters; e.g., 'N' should have been replaced by something like "North Star" whereas currently you need either access rights/knowledge about what North star looks like in order see any difference between N-S etc.. which makes them quite difficult sometimes! Having all logs written down via this system saves our skipper so much precious space while also making life easier when we're docked somewhere because he has his laptop out ready next minute if needed; as well there are many other ways where being able to track things digitally would benefit us too - but i guess those aren't always compatible yet? It's easy enough that I can use it right away without having to read any tutorials at all. The interface could be better if we had some way of making more than one page visible (like in other programs). If you are looking for something simple but still reliable this program should do just fine! We've been using sea logs since about 2007 so there has not really been anything new they brought out after then that would make our day-to-day tasks easier or less tedious.
