It's easy enough that anyone can use it without training or help from someone with more experience of navigating at sea (which I'm not). The interface could be improved by having better navigation symbols and icons instead of using very simple font characters; e.g., 'N' should have been replaced by something like "North Star" whereas currently you need either access rights/knowledge about what North star looks like in order see any difference between N-S etc.. which makes them quite difficult…

The simplicity of use - it's great if you're new at this kind of thing or have never used such tool before! It has helped me keep track with my fishing trips more effectively than I could do manually in writing down everything myself (I'm not very good about remembering things).
