So why not just use my phone in the waterproof case I have? One reason: OPTICAL ZOOM! No cell phone digital zoom camera can ever match P&S optical zoom! Took this to the Caribbean for a week, the week worked most of the week with no problems. The battery life was great, I think I only had to charge it once for the whole week. The shots were sharp and clear, and the optical zoom made it a lot easier to get close-ups of shy fish! If you love the water like me and want to keep your memories then this camera (or newer models) is only a few dollars to buy, save your $600 smartphone for safer places!
