When choosing a new bed in the store I thought the adjustable base was so short my bed skirt was a puddle on the floor I don't store stuff under the bed but it's a pet shelter so I need a bed skirt I put 2 times 4 blocks under the legs but it still wasn't enough to get the skirt off the floor, and every time I slammed the bed, the legs would slide over the logs These 3-inch risers are the perfect height for an adjustable base, which Roo found ms To Go was purchased. the risers come with foam pads for the top of the risers - one set of rigid foam and one set of slotted foam for beds with casters on legs, neither of which i use as the bed moves a bit when raising and lowering it. The risers also come with a set of foam inserts for the bottom. f any riser to protect the floor. I don't use them either as I have carpet on the floor - again the bed shifts a bit when I adjust it and I sometimes have to put it back in place. In short, this set covers all the bases! I am very happy with this purchase.
